Ensure that lock nut is securely tightened. Repeat the process until the correction is precise. Lengthen the rod if the lift arms move after the plates are aligned. If the lift arms move before the plates line up, shorten the rod by ratcheting the flats on it. Unfasten the rod end lock nut on the draft-sensing rod. ![]() Continue with the procedure if an adjustment is required. There is no need for adjustment if the surfaces of the lever and plate line up as depicted. It ought to be parallel to the flat surface of the friction plate’s back. Check the location of the inner pivot plate’s back edge at this time. Once the rockshaft arms start to raise, slowly move the inner lever backward. Verify that the rockshaft centerlink is not under any load. Then fully advance the outside control lever.
